"Aries Spears should focus on his singing and playing skills. The Beacon is a beautiful theater, but the sound in the balconies, although clear enough is not loud enough. Music was great but when you can't understand the words, what good is it? I couldn't comprehend any words from either Sarah Watkins or Aries. It's nice that he interacts with the audience but the way he does it, with his head down and mumbling, isn't effective. He shines in a smaller venue where he can simply perform with his guitar or piano without additional people, twangy guitars, or singers. This concert was somewhat dull, as the ballads were difficult to understand due to unclear acoustics or speakers. There was no clarity and it was too loud. You would expect this at a band's concert, not at an Aries Spears show."
